Conditions Of Hire
- Responsibility for the equipment hired rests with the Hirer during the hire period and any loss will be made good by the Hirer. The value of the equipment for insurance purposes is shown on our hire price list.
- Any damage to the equipment will be made good by the Hirer. Particular care should be taken with searchlight lamps as the replacement costs are high.
- The Hirer must ensure that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with the instructions provided.
- It is the responsibility of the Hirer to arrange Public Liability Insurance.
- Searchlights should not be used outside the specified times as the Civil Aviation Authority will be notified only for this period of time.
- The equipment must be returned or ready for collection by our carriers at the specified time. Failure to comply with the condition will result in an excess charge of one day’s standard hire charge plus VAT per day for each unit hired.
- Our Conditions of Hire must be accepted before a Hire may proceed. This is done by either signing the Hire Form or by ticking the box next to ‘I agree to your conditions of hire’ if the form is sent to us by e-mail.
- Our Conditions of Hire may change and a current copy is available on request. By signing the Hire Agreement you are agreeing to our Conditions of Hire in force at the time of signing.
